Whittens was awarded the prestigious Concrete Institute of Australia (WA) Certificate of Excellence for its performance on this Roy Hill project. The scope of works included:
- Three run-of-mine (ROM) walls and the Coarse Ore Stockpile tunnels and vaults – approximately 95.0 metres-long x 16.0 metres-high, insitu placed concrete.
- Reinforcement, formwork, cast-in items, construction joint preparation, temporary works and vertical access for three ROM walls.
